GARY STEVEN " STEVE " BRADY

Jul. 21, 1955 - Mar. 19, 2012

56, of rural Lerna, IL, passed away at 7:55 P.M., Monday, March  19, 2012, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County, IL.  Steve was born July  21, 1955, in Mattoon, IL., the son of Carl and Betty (Huff) Brady. He married Vicki (Starwalt) May 14, 1999 in Nashville, IN. Steve was a sales manager for Brooks Creek Cedar of Mattoon, IL, and he loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Steve leaves his wife, Vicki Brady of rural Lerna, IL; special daughter Harliegh Jean; sons, Shain Brady and wife Dara of Anderson, SC, Seth White and fiancé Cassie Huff of rural Neoga, IL and Trevor White of Neoga, IL; daughters, Kristy Buescher and  husband Ryan of rural Neoga, IL, Amy Reynolds and husband Tony of Neoga, IL and Chelsi Blazich and husband Mike of Neoga, IL; his father, Carl Brady and wife Joyce of rural Trilla, IL;  and his mother, Betty Brady of Neoga, IL; brother, Ron Brady of rural Trilla, IL; sister, Linda Sudkamp and husband David of rural Neoga, IL; grandchildren, Lane and Cole Brady, Matt, Cassie and Cameron Buescher, Brady and Kalli Reynolds, Kyler and Kanen White, Cassandra, Jessica, Landon and Colin Blazich ; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the family for Harliegh Jean’s education fund. Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Friday,  March 23, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. in the Free Methodist Church of Neoga, IL, with Pastor, Steve Massengill of Neoga, officiating. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday, March  22, 2012, at the Free Methodist Church of Neoga, IL; Burial will be at the Boles Cemetery east of Trilla, IL. The Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements.
