80, of rural Toledo, Illinois, passed away at 4:20 P.M., Saturday, December 14, 2019, in his residence. He was born July 24, 1939, the son of Norbert and Bertha (Welch) Moran in Effingham County, Illinois. Bill served in the Illinois National Guard. He married Barbara Jean Drum, March 8, 1995 in Greenup, Illinois. Mr. Moran was the retired owner/operator of William Moran Equipment of rural Toledo, Illinois. Bill was an avid Motorcyclist and enjoyed tinkering with his tractors. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Neoga and the Knights of Columbus. Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Moran of Toledo, Illinois; children, John Rickett of Mattoon, Illinois, Lori Hall (Steve) of Mattoon, Illinois, Theresa Farrel (Scott) of Concord, North Carolina, Patrick Moran of Little Rock, Arkansas, Diane Peterson (David) of Spring, Texas, Janet Kenesko of Lexington, South Carolina, Mark Moran (and special friend, Kara) of Greenville, Illinois, Dennis Moran (Sarah) of Fortville, Indiana; Brother John Moran (Jane) of Trilla, Illinois; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jim Rickett and sister, Margaret Fearday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday December 21, 2019 at the St. Mary of The Assumption Church in Neoga, Illinois with Fr. Sunder Ery and Fr. Alan Moran officiating. Visitation will be held at St. Mary Of The Assumption Church, Friday, December 20, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 6:30 PM. Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Trowbridge, Illinois.
