38, of Neoga, Illinois passed away at 10:40 AM Monday, April 20, 2020 in his residence. Aaron was born December 6, 1981 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Dan and Janet (Weishaar) Hoene. Mr. Hoene was a Sales/Customer Associate at Menards in Effingham, Illinois, previously was employed at Sears and Farm Pride both in Mattoon, Illinois. He enjoyed buying and selling toy tractors, going to tractor pulls and antique tractor shows. Aaron was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church and the Knights Of Columbus both in Neoga, Illinois and the National Trail Toy Club in Effingham, Illinois.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Janet and Doug Thomas of Mattoon, Illinois; brother, Scott Hoene (Sarah) of Neoga, Illinois; sister, Becky Gajewski (Mick) of Ashley, Illinois; grandmother, Marian Weishaar of Teutopolis, Illinois; step grandmother, Connie Thomas of Treasure Island, Florida; step brother, A.J. Thomas of Charleston, Illinois; nephews, Daniel and Simon Hoene; several aunts and uncles and cousins.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Dan E. Hoene; grandparents, Norbert and Alice Hoene and Vincent Weishaar; step grandfather, Bud Thomas.
