ALLEN DUANE HUFFMAN

Allen Duane Huffman 62, of rural Neoga, Illinois passed away Monday May 29, 2023 in Neoga Twp., Illinois.  He was born December 24, 1960 in Cando, North Dakota the son of James O. And Frances (Gartner) Huffman.  Mr. Huffman was formerly married to Jill McKenna of Neoga, Illinois.  Allen was a heavy equipment operator for Howell Asphalt of Mattoon, Illinois.  He was member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Local 841.  Mr Huffman is survived by daughters, Lindsay Williams (Nick) of Mattoon, Illinois and McKenna Aitken (Austin) currently serving in the U.S. Air Force in Germany; four grandchildren, Payton Williams, Ryder Williams, Everett Aitken and Emerson Aitken; brother, Tom Huffman (Donna) of Neoga, Illinois; sister, Marlys Prahl (Brian) of Neoga, Illinois: and many close friends, if you were a friend you were family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Huffman; sister, Kathryn Pridemore.
As per Allen’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration Of Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM  at 1800 Dewitt Avenue in Mattoon, Illinois, (The Triple Nickel).  Memorials are suggested to Camp New Hope.
