BILLIE L. (MCCALL) SHEWMAKE

Billie L (McCall) Shewmake, 54, of Neoga, Illinois, formerly of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away at Sarah Bush Hospital Thursday morning July 29, 2021 at 3:29 Am. She was born April 10, 1967 at Mattoon hospital to parents Joy Dexter and Walt Dexter.
 She married Bill Shewmake Feb 2003  for almost 19 yrs. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. 
 She leaves husband, Bill Shewmake, of Neoga, IL;  son, Kodi McCall of Mattoon, IL; sister, Lori (Steve) Bowman of Mattoon IL; brother, Jimmy Arthur of Mattoon, IL;  one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Joy Dexter, of Mattoon, Illinois; brother, Larry Arthur, California
 She loved to be around people and friends. Enjoyed crafting, drawing, runnin around on the golf cart, and having a good time amongst friends n family. She loved her dogs, Shelby and Cherokee amongst other animals around her.
 Per her request, Cremation Rites were accorded and family will scatter her ashes at the places she truly loved to be at. Celebration of life was held 5pm Aug 14th at Lake Mattoon.
