Brian P. Banovz 55, of rural Neoga, Illinois, passed away July 20, 2023 at his residence. He was born November 10, 1967 in Staunton, Illinois the son of Roger William Sr. and Joyce Lee (Dobrinich) Banovz. Brian married Debra "Debbie" K. Schlechte November 5, 1994 in Staunton, Illinois. Mr. Banovz was a Service Technition for Fire Extinguisher Sales And Service. He was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Sigel, Illinois. Brian enjoyed raising and training Bloodhounds, hunting, spending time with friends and family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Banovz is survived by his wife, Debbie Banovz of Neoga, Illinois; sons, Kelly (Ashley) Bryant of Shilo, Illinois and Kurtis Bryant of Neoga, Illinois; grandchildren, Kember Bryant, Kaden Bryant and Lucas Bryant; mother, Joyce Banovz of Staunton, Illinois; brother, Roger Banovz Jr (Carrie) of Carterville, Illinois; sister, Sheila Tallman (Karl) of Bunker Hill, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
As per Brian’s request cremation rites will be accorded.
The Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois will be assisting the family with arrangements.
