CAROLYN STILABOWER Obituary

Carolyn Louise Stilabower 79 OF Neoga, Illinois passed away at 9:29 p.m. Friday February 23, 2024 in her residence in Neoga, Illinois, surrounded by her family.  She was born November 5, 1944 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Harold Leroy and Hettie Ellen (Davis) Shotts.
Carolyn married David Stilabower December 28, 1962 in Martinsville, Illinois.  She was a Seamstress at Kern Manufacturing in Neoga, Illinois, a Coordinator /CNA for Lincoln Land Visiting Nurses, a team Truck Driver with her husband David and also was a private home care giver.  Carolyn loved to camp, work in her flower gardens and most of all spend time with her family.  She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Neoga, Illinois.   Carolyn is survived by her husband, David Stilabower of Neoga, Illinois; son, Jim Stilabower (Becky) of Neoga, Illinois; daughter Kim Drennan (Bruce) of Neoga, Illinois; grandchildren, Garet Shuemaker (Brittney), Jordan Shuemaker, Heath Stilabower and Moriah Stilabower; great grandchildren, Avery and Amelia Shuemaker.   She was preceded in death by her parents; father in law Kenneth Stilabower; mother in law, Clara Elgin; brother in law, Ronnie Stilabower; sister in law, Pat Altman.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Martinsville, Illinois.
Memorials are suggested to the family C/O David Stilabower 1249 railroad street neoga, IL 62447.
