CHARLOTTE MAY (EVANS) BROWN

88, of Olney, Illinois, formerly of Neoga passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Aperion Care Olney of Olney, Illinois. Charlotte was born January 8, 1932 in Arcola, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth and Alberta Evans.  She was a retired seamstress for Kern Manufacturing in Neoga, Illinois and attended the Gaskill Chapel United Methodist Church in rural Windsor, Illinois.  She married Virgil May, October 20, 1951 in Mattoon, Illinois, Virgil passed away February 13, 1995, she married Lawrence E. Brown April 20, 1998 in Neoga, Illinois and Lawrence passed away October 26, 2008.  Mrs. Brown is survived by her nephews, Robert Spencer Evans of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Donald Eugene Evans of Clay City, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Alberta Evans; husbands Lawrence Brown and Virgil May; brother, Robert Eugene Evans and nephew Kenneth Dale Evans. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery of Neoga, Illinois with Pastor Rob Dillingham of Neoga, Illinois officiating.
