DARLENE LOUISE (MOFFITT) ALBIN

Darlene Louise Albin, 73 of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 9:44 PM Saturday  November 19, 2022 in the Heartland Senior Living Center in Neoga, Illinois.  She was born June 24, 1949 in Shelby County, Illinois the daughter of Arble M. and Ruby E. (Anderson) Moffitt.  Darlene was a Bank Teller and a former Teacher’s Aide In The Neoga School District.  Darlene loved smiling, painting and bingo.  She is survived by her son, Greg Albin (Dacia) of Effingham, Illinois; sisters, Diana Williams (Danny) of Stewardson, Illinois and Debbie Williams (Delbert) of Neoga, Illinois; grandchildren, Abigayle Lane, Alexis Albin, Ashley Lane, Isabella Harkins-Albin and Delahney Lane.  Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Lane.
Memorials are suggested to Lincolnland Hospice of Mattoon, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at  11:00 AM, Friday, November  25, 2022 in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois.  Visitation will be two hours before services also in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Swedish Lutheran Cemetery, Big Spring Twp. Shelby County, Illinois.
