DEAN RICHARD CLARK

82, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 7:37 AM, Monday, March 16, 2020, in his residence.   He was born January 15, 1938, the son of Rutherford and Lula (Spahr) Clark in Osborne, Ohio.  Dean served in the United States Navy from 1955 - 1957.  He married Anne Marie Popernik November 26, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, Anne passed away December 31, 2002.  Dean then married Julia Morgan June 23, 2007 in Effingham, Illinois.  Mr. Clark was a restaurant owner in LaGrange, Illinois and he loved fishing and playing golf.  Dean is survived by his wife, Julia Clark of Neoga, Illinois: children, Cathy Santi (Will) of Downers Grove, Illinois, Dave Clark (Chris) of LaGrange, Illinois, LuAnne Clark of Burlington, Wisconsin, Lisa Tyminski (Pete) of LaGrange Park, Illinois, Gail Calabrese (William) of Naperville, Illinois, Beth Tabbert of Champaign, Illinois, Kelly Beck of Champaign, Illinois and Keri Reel (Rich) of Strasburg, Illinois; twenty one grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Anne and one brother, Donald Clark.

As per Dean’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and ther is no services scheduled at this time. The Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga is assisting the family.
