DENNIS L. "TOAD" HILLDERBRAND

Dennis L. "Toad" Hillderbrand, 75 of Olney Illinois, passed away Tuesday June 10, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 23, 1950 in Olney, Illinois the son of Forrest and Yvonne June (Weidner) Hillderbrand. Dennis married Lola Sharp on August 15, 1996 in Henderson, Kentucky and she passed March 23, 2018.  Dennis worked in the oil fields near Olney, Illinois and in Ohio.  "Toad" enjoyed riding motorcycles and visiting with family and friends.   

He is survived by his sisters, Frances Quick (Jerry) of Neoga, Illinois, Nancy Denney (Tom) of Neoga, Illinois and Joanne Rogers of Flora, Illinois; stepson, Steve Sharp (Ashley) of Olney, Illinois; step daughter, Michelle Smith (David) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Melissa Totten of Noble, Illinois; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his special canine and feline companions.

Preceded by parents; wife, Lola Hillderbrand; sister, Barbara Zimmerman and brother, Jack Walker. 

As per Dennis’ wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there is no public services scheduled at this time. Burial will be in the Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs, Illinois.
