ELVA G. (DAVIS) WHITE

78, of Neoga, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at her residence. She was born October 16, 1942 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Michael and Betty (Lamb) Davis.  She married Walter L. White October 15, 1961 in Charleston, Illinois, Mr. White passed away June 17, 1996.  Elva was a retired cook for the Coles County Airport Restaurant in Mattoon, Illinois.  Mrs. White is survived by sons, Michael (Kimberly) White of Neoga, Illinois and Walter L (Gayle) White Jr of Missouri; daughter, Vivian (Russell) Miller of Etna, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Mary) Davis of Danville, Illinois and Mike Davis of Oakwood, Illinois; sister, Maxine (Rex) Birt of Danville, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by, her parents; daughter, Betty Wallace; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter and one great grandson.
Memorials are suggested to the family C/O Michael White  459 Elm, Neoga, Illinois  62447.  A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday July 6, 2021 in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery of Neoga, Illinois with Rev. Lewis Ryder of Neoga, Illinois officiating.
