Franklin D. "Frank" Enloe 86, of rural Toledo, Illinois, passed away at 2:36 PM Monday April 3, 2023 in his residence surrounded by family. He was born June 7, 1936 in Greenville, Illinois the son of Charles and Ora (Hicks) Enloe. Frank married Kay Frances Wampler September 24, 1956 in Corinth, Mississippi, Mrs Enloe passed away October 15, 2016. Mr. Enloe was retired from Associated Spring in Mattoon, Illinois where he worked in setup and grinding and also was a Cumberland County Sheriffs Deputy for four years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard for 6 years during the Korean War. Frank is survived by his children, Tony Enloe of Toledo, Illinois, Marty Enloe (Sherry) of Ashmore, Illinois, Mark Enloe (Melody) of Montrose, Illinois, Twila Simpson (Tom) of Mattoon, Illinois and Tina Hall of Paris, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren: and several great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kay Frances Enloe; brother, Edward Enloe and sister, Ruth Wallace and son in law, Harold Hall.
Memorials are suggested to the Lincolnland Hospice of Sarah Bush Lincoln or Donor’s Choice.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 6, 2023 in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM until service time also in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Humboldt Township Cemetery in Humboldt, Illinois.
