FREDDIE RAY ATWELL

47, of rural Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 9, 2012, at his residence. Freddie was born April 30, 1964, in Beloit, WS, the son of Lonnie R. Atwell and Velma (Childs) Atwell. Freddie married Sheila Seville, May 30, 1992, in Leland, Illinois. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Mattoon, Illinois, and a former automobile salesman for the Miles Chevrolet Company of Decatur, Ill., Freddie leaves his wife, Sheila Atwell of rural Neoga, Ill.; one son, Jonathan Atwell, at home; three daughters, Jessica Atwell and Jaclyn Atwell, at home and Brittney Atwell of Aurora, Ill.; two brothers, Bob Atwell of Harding, Ill., and Lonnie Atwell and wife Barbara of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Val Nelson and husband Tim of Leland, Ill. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be sent to the family in care of Mrs. Sheila Atwell at 41 Lockhart Dr., Neoga, Illinois 62447. There will be no local services. A Visitation for Mr. Atwell will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 13, 2012, in the St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Charleston Ave. , Mattoon, Illinois. A second visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday January 15, 2012, in the Bethany Lutheran Church, 235 E. Lundy Lane, Leland, Illinois. Burial will be at a later date.
