GERRIE DIANE (BURTON) COOK

Gerrie Diane Cook 58, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 8:50 PM Sunday February 6, 2022 in the Sara Bush lincoln Health Center of Mattoon, Illinois.  She was born April 22, 1963 in Normal, Illinois the daughter of John D. And Nancy R (Orr) Burton.  She married Robert Cook June 14, 1980 in Normal, Illinois Mr. Cook survives.  Gerrie was a LPN at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga, Illinois.  Mrs. Cook leaves her husband of forty one years, Robert Cook of Neoga, Illinois; mother, Nancy Sansone of Charleston, Illinois: daughters, Danaka Cotton (Russell) of Palm Harbor, Florida, Misty Cook of Neoga, Illinois and Brooklyn Cook of Neoga, Illinois; eight grandchildren; brother Alan Burton (Jean’E) of Wesley Chapel, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father; step father, Jerry Sansone; sister, Tina Systo; two grandsons.

A private family viewing was held at 10:30 AM in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois.  Burial was in the Mullen Cemetery near Montrose, Illinois.
