George H Bartlett

George H. Bartlett, age 85 of Mattoon Illinois, passed away Wednesday June 4, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 17, 1939 the son of George E. Bartlett and Mary B. Noles. George married Carol Mayhall on June 19, 1960 in Neoga, Illinois. George was an engineer and plant manager for Associated Spring. George enjoyed hunting, engraving, and snow skiing.  He loved the mountains, cars, and spending time with his family. George was a member of Broadway Christian Church in Mattoon Illinois. 
He is survived by his wife, Carol of Mattoon, Illinois; daughter Terry Andres of Mattoon, Illinois son, Michael Bartlett (Dawn) of Kannapolis, North Carolina, William Bartlett (Aimee) of Gurnee, Illinois; grandchildren, Jason Himes (Stacey), Sylena Rhoads-Cash (Mike), Jamey Himes (Katie), Megan Cooke (Jason), Cameron Bartlett, Jordan Beck, 10 great- grandchildren.; brothers, John Bartlett (Darlene) and Chuck Bartlett (Carolyn); sister Rose Dobler (Tom) and Sherry Miranda (Johann); sister-in-law Sheri Coen (David); several nieces and nephews.
Preceded by parents and sister Fran Jennings (Derald). 
A Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday June 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a life celebration service at 12 PM in the Swengel - O’Dell funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois.  Burial will follow in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery.
