Ina A Haskett

97 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 A. M., Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, Iowa. Ina was born October 6, 1913, in Cumberland County, Illinois the daughter of Joe and Lura ( Gadberry ) Carter. Ina married Rex O. Haskett July 11, 1931, in Belleville, Illinois and Mr. Haskett passed away December 21, 1984. Mrs. Haskett was a housewife and a former employee of J. C. Penney's Company of Mattoon, Illinois, for ten years. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, near Neoga. Mrs. Haskett leaves her son-in-law, Gilbert Kingery of West Des Moines, Iowa; one grandson, Greg Kingery and his wife Judy of Marion, Iowa; one granddaughter, Amber Barz and her husband Kurt of Johnston, Iowa; four great grandchildren. Mrs. Haskett was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Eloise Kingery; and two sisters. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A. M., Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois, with the Rev. Richard Coen of Neoga officiating.
