JOHN RICHARD HARMON

John Richard Harmon 69,  of Sigel, Illinois, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana,  Illinois. He was born April 19, 1952 in Coles County, Illinois the son of Rex John and Emma Louise (Schwerdt) Harmon.  John  proudly served in the United States Army and was a proud member of the National Rifle Association.  He leaves his brothers, Steve Harmon (Sheila) of Montrose, Illinois, Tom Harmon of Sigel, Illinois, Jim Harmon (Tammy) of Olney, Illinois, Larry Harmon of Effingham, Illinois and Paul Harmon (Seanne) of Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters, Alice Icenogle (Brian) of Neoga, Illinois, Joyce Helmbacher of Sigel, Illinois and Doris Harmon of Charleston, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Harmon  was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Harmon.

As per John's wishes Cremation Rites will be accorded and a Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday December 4, 2021 in the St. Michael Cemetery in Sigel, Illinois.
