JOSEPH GORDON "JOEY" GARRETT

Joseph Gordon "Joey" Garrett, Sigel, IL, passed away at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in Neoga, Illinois.  He was born July 31, 1985 in Jasper, Alabama the son of Gary Garrett  and Angela (Martin) Hardesty. Joey was a big Alabama football fan and Roll Tide!  Joey is survived by his mother, Angela Hardesty (Richard) of Windsor, Illinois; father Gary Garrett of Oakman, Alabama; siblings, Jessica Hinton (Derek) of Sigel, Illinois, Nathan Thompson (Shamey) of Dora, Alabama, Nicole Newburn (Derek) of Beecher City, Illinois, Cheyenne Garrett and Nicholas Garrett; nieces and nephews, Michaela Peters, Korbyn Hinton, Paisley Newburn, Saban Thompson, Alexia and Ava Tubbs, Layne Hardesty and Aubrie Hardesty; grandparents Bill and Mary Martin of Neoga, Illinois  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Helen Hardesty and Gordon and Betty Garrett; and brother, Tyler Hardesty.  

Memorials are suggested to the Family C/O Angela Hardesty 3196 Co. Hwy. 38 Windsor, Illinois 61957.

As Per Joey’s wishes Cremation Rites will be accorded and there are no public services scheduled at this time.
