KARL ROBERT WALK

46, of Wentzville, Missouri, formerly of Sigel, Illinois, passed away at 10:09 A.M., Saturday, February 2, 2013, in the St. Joseph West Hospital, Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Karl was born November 3, 1966, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Michael and Barbara ( Osthoff ) Walk. He was a graduate of St. Michael's School, Neoga High School, Lakeland College and the University of Illinois, with a degree in Agronomy, and he was employed in the seed division of Monsanto Company of Chesterfield, Missouri. Karl married, Janet Banning on August 27, 1988, in the St. Patrick's Church of Pana, Illinois. Karl was active in his Church, St. Patrick's Church of Wentzville, Missouri, and he was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Karl leaves his wife, Janet Walk of Wentzville, MO; one son, Sam Walk of Wentzville, MO; two daughters, Emily and Megan Walk both of Wentzville, MO; his Parents, Mike and Barb Walk of Sigel, IL; four brothers, Rick Walk and wife Teresa of Sigel, IL, Brian Walk and wife Stacey Sigel, IL and Greg Walk and wife Carol of Neoga, IL; Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also a beloved son-in-law of Ben and Florence Banning of Pana, IL. Memorials may be made to the St. Michael's School of Sigel, IL or to the St Patrick's Parish of Wentzville, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A. M., Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in the St. Michael, The Archangel Church of Sigel, Illinois, with Father, Robert DeGrand and Sister, Pat Thies officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P. M., Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in the St. Michael, The Archangel Church, of Sigel, IL with a Rosary at 4:30 P.M., Tuesday.
