LINDA LOU (ROWAN) SCHUMACHER

Linda Lou Schumacher, 76, of Sigel, Illinois, passed away at 4:30 PM Sunday July 7, 2024, peacefully at her home.  She was born November 17, 1947, in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Clyde and Flora (Cambron) Rowan.  Linda married David Schumacher on December 17th, 1984, in Effingham, Illinois, He passed away April 24, 2024.   Mrs. Schumacher was a farmer’s wife, secretary at St. Michael School and co owner/operator of Pizza Man Pizza in Effingham, Illinois.  She loved, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Linda was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Church in Sigel, Illinois, Catholic Daughters Of America and Sigel Card Club.
She is survived by her children, Rhea (Monte) Huddlestun of Effingham, Illinois, Matthew (Jody) Schumacher of Sigel, Illinois and Michael Schumacher of Sigel, Illinois; grandchildren, Zach, Morgan, Lena, Abram, Vincent and Mya; sisters, Muriel Farthing of Marion, Illinois and Norma O'Brien of Marion, Illinois; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband David Schumacher; son, Spencer Troy Harrell; brothers, Robert Rowan, Donnie Rowan, Charles Rowan; sisters, Bonnie Wagner and Dorothy Carter. 
Memorials are suggested to the Family C/O Rhea Huddlestun.   
 As per Linda’s wishes no public visitation will be held and a Grave Side Service will be held at 2:00 PM , Thursday July 11, 2024  in the St. Michael Cemetery  in Sigel, Illinois.
