Lela E. Lauter

29, of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning at her residence in Mattoon, Illinois. Lela was born January 20, 1982, in Mattoon, Illinois, the daughter of Leland E. and Judith I. ( McCelravy ) Hubbart. She married Gregory D. Lauter on August 7, 2003, in Mattoon, Illinois. Lela was employed by the Mars Company of Mattoon, she enjoyed being with her family, going for walks, playing in the park, and she enjoyed working with her flowers. Mrs. Lauter leaves her husband, Gregory D. Lauter of Mattoon, IL; three children, Keith Lauter, Kollyn Lauter and Kourtney Lauter, all at home; one brother, Gene Hubbart and wife April of Mattoon, IL; seven sisters, LeeAnn Kastl and husband Burt, Jodi McCelland and husband Karl, all of Mattoon, Ill., Gloria Massengill and husband Steve of Neoga, Ill., Connie Thomason, Vickie Kimery and husband John all of Mattoon, Ill., Louise Nichols and husband Brad of Mattoon, Il., and Treva Rupinski and husband Jason of Altamont, Ill. Mrs. Lauter was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Dianna Rae Hubbart and one uncle, Dan Morgan. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2011, in the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, with the Rev. Richard Coen officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery near Neoga, Ill.
