MARGARET JEAN BERNADINI

89, of Effingham, IL formerly of Neoga, IL, passed away at 11:30 P. M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in the Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Center of Effingham, IL. Jean was born December 22, 1923 in Shelby County, IL, the daughter of Gaylord W. and Carrie M. ( Bodine ) Martin. She married Geno J. Bernadini, June 22, 1975, in Mattoon, IL and he passed away December 7, 1994. Jean was a seamstress for the Kern Manufacturing company of Neoga, for thirty years and then she retired from the Mattoon Garment Factory after twenty years of service. Jean leaves two brothers, Glenn Martin and wife Lillian of Montrose, IL and Donald Martin of Neoga, IL; four sisters, D. June Grunloh and Pauline Verdeyen of Effingham, IL, Shirley Stateler of Greenup, IL and Grace Winings and husband Leroy of Mattoon, IL and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bernadini was preceded in death by her parents, husband Geno Bernadini, two brothers, Bobby Dean Martin and Earl Bodine; one sister, Gwendolyn Mayhall. Memorials may be made to the Restless Leg Syndrome Foundation, 819 Second St. SW, Rochester, MN 55902.
