Obituary

Marjorie Ann Wickersham  92 of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away at 11:30 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.   She was born May 9, 1930 in Centralia, Illinois the daughter of Walter Edward and Pauline (Dehn) Humes.  Marjorie was a retired  Certified Nursing Assistant.  She married Eldon W. Wickersham July 7, 1947 in Salem, Illinois, Mr. Wickersham passed away March 28, 2018.  Mrs. Wickersham is survived by her children, Patricia D. Waltz (Olin) of Chrisman, Illinois, Virginia "Sue" Bailey of Paris, Illinois, Robert Wayne "Bob" Wickersham (Theresa) of Lerna, Illinois and Cleta "Marinell" Wickersham of Lerna, Illinois; brother, Michael Humes (Karon) of Sandoval, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon Wickersham; brothers, Junior Walter Humes and Donald Dean Humes; one infant sister, Patricia Humes.
As per her wishes Cremation Rites will be accorded and service will be at a later date.
