MICHAEL HOWARD "BLACKY" BAKER

40, formerly of Neoga, Illinois passed away at 1:15 A.M., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in Dixon, Illinois. Michael was born August 22, 1972 in Mattoon, IL, the son of Charles Baker and Vicky (Herring) Rahn. He was a former employee of the Linder-Kraft Company and the Kal-Kan Company, both of Mattoon, Illinois. He leaves his mother and stepfather, Vicky Rahn and her husband Fred of Neoga, IL; his father, Charles Baker of Effingham, IL; three children, Rory ( Blake) Baker and wife Casey of Windsor, IL, Shaniah Baker and Michael Baker, Jr., both of Yale, IL: one granddaughter, Brooklyn Baker of Windsor, IL; Grandmothers, Mary Herring of Neoga, IL, and Joan Rahn of Tuscola, IL; Brother, Bubba Baker and wife Candy of Mattoon, IL; sister, Michelle Campbell and husband Greg of Mattoon, IL; Nieces and nephews, Nicole Hardesty, Tiara Farris and Jordan Baker all of Mattoon, IL, Tyler Hardesty of Sigel, IL; great niece, Melanie Nation of Mattoon, IL. Michael was preceded in death byhis grandparents, Howard Herring, Duane Rahn, Evelyn and Earl Baker; half brother, Chad Cushman. Memorials may be made to his family in care of Vicky Rahn of 433 Walnut Ave., Neoga, IL 62447. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, November 30, 2012, in the Free Methodist Church of Neoga, with the Rev. Steve Massengill, officiating.
