MICHAEL FRANCIS DRESLIK

65, of Neoga, Illinois, formerly of Bronx, New York, passed away at 10:43 A.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in the Barnes - Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, Missouri. Michael was born August 28, 1947, in Manhattan, New York, the son of Joseph and Sarah ( Labellarte ) Dreslik. He married Elizabeth Castro, May 18, 1968 in Bronx, New York. Michael was a member of the St. Mary Of The Assumption Church of Neoga, and he was a plant manager for the Pyroferric International T. S. C. of Toledo, Illinois. Mr. Dreslik leaves his wife of forty-four years, Elizabeth Dreslik of Neoga, IL; two sons, Michael J. Dreslik of Urbana, IL and Jason Dreslik of Charleston, IL; one brother, Richard Dreslik and wife Mary Ellen of Port St. Lucie, FL; one sister, Julia Leone and husband Frank of Queens, New York; seven nieces and nephews; several grand nieces and nephews. Mr. Dreslik was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the ASPCA. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A. M., Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in the St. Mary Of The Assumption Church in Neoga, with Fr. Robert DeGrand of Sigel and Sr. Pat Theis of Effingham officiating. The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 11, 2013, in the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, with a 6:00 P.M., Rosary at the funeral home.
