NORMA JEAN LACKEY

84, of Neoga, IL passed away at 3:45 A.M. Friday March 9, 2012, in the Lakeland Rehabhilitation and health care center of Effingham, IL. Norma was born April 26, 1927 in Windsor, IL, the daughter of G. Freeman and Flossy (Johnson ) Huff. She married Joy Blair April 17, 1948 in Neoga, IL, he passed away February 7, 2003. She married Ralph Lackey in February of 1974 in Neoga, IL, Ralph passed away in May of 1985. Norma was a secretary at Bandy's Medical Supply in Effingham, IL. Norma was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in neoga, IL and a fifteen year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Neoga, IL. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Correll and her husband Les of Sigel, IL, Patricia Young and her husband Dana of Neoga, IL, Darla Weaver and her husband Eric of Cheyenne, WY and Jodi Wortham and her husband Bob of Allenville, IL; one sister Betty Brady of Neoga, IL; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great grandson on the way; and one step great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, IL with the Rev. Debbie Reese of Effingham, IL officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday March 13, 2012, at the funeral home.
