PATRICIA L. (PADGETT) VANMATRE

Patricia L. VanMatre, passed away at  5:55 pm, Monday,  August 22, 2022 in Robinson Rehab and Nursing in Robinson, Illinois.  She was born July 15, 1933 in Champaign, Illinois, the daughter of John A. "Fred" and Martha A. (Feathergill) Padgett.  Pat married James D. VanMatre March 11, 1950 in Champaign, Illinois, Mr. VanMatre passed away April 27, 2011.    Mrs. VanMatre is survived by  her children, Susan G. McClure (Jack) of Robinson, Illinois, Michael VanMatre (Mary Sue) of Champaign, Illinois and David E. VanMatre (Marlene) of Mahomet, Illinois; Seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James D. VanMatre; son, Steven Lee VanMatre; great granddaughter, Rachel McClure; Brother James Padgett; and sister, Alice Lindgreen.
As per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and Graveside Services will be held at  10:30 AM Saturday September 10, 2022 in the Concord Cemetery in Neoga, Twp.,  Illinois.
