79, of rural Neoga, Illinois, passed away Monday evening, May 14, 2012, in his residence. He was born December 6, 1932, in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of Regis E. and Agnes A. ( Overbeck ) McClory. He was a member of the St. Mary of The Assumption Church of Neoga, The modern Woodmen of America and a Life Member of the Knights Of Columbus in Teutopolis, Illinois. He also served in the United States Army in Germany and achieved the rank of Corporal. In later years he looked after his Brother until his death. Regis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, J. Richard McClory. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary of The Assumption Church in Neoga, or to the St. Patrick Cemetery of rural Neoga. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A. M. , Thursday, May 17, 2012, in the St. Mary of The Assumption Church of Neoga, with the Rev. Fr. Robert DeGrand and Sr. Pat Theis, officiating. The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, with a 6:30 P. M., Rosary. Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Trowbridge, Illinois. On line condolences may be expressed at swengel-odell.com
