RICHARD GEORGE ROGERS

76, of rural Toledo, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, in his residence. He was born October 14, 1942, the son of Richard and Hazel (Hammock) Rogers in St. Louis County, Missouri. Richard served in the United States Army.  He married Sue Ayers November 10, 1970 in Clayton Missouri. Richard was a retired food salesman for U.S. Foods.  He loved fishing and hanging out with his family and friends.  Richard leaves his wife, of over 48 years, Sue Rogers of Mattoon, IL; two sons, Richard Rogers (Gayla) of Neoga, IL and John Rogers and fiancé Autum Fazig of Mattoon, IL; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by, his parents and one brother, Carl "Bud" Rogers.
Memorials are suggested to the family C/O Sue Rogers 1920 Brookstone Lane Apt. 25  Mattoon, IL 61938.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there are no public services scheduled at this time.
