ROBERT W. MILLER

Robert "Bob" Miller, 69, of Mattoon, Illinois passed away at 5:26pm Tuesday July 15, 2025.  He was born March 2, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana the son of David and Glynora (Durbin) Alchin.  He served in the United States Marine Corp and later in the United States Army.  Bob married Carrie June 10, 1988 in Belton, Texas. He drove a truck for Miller Overton in Mattoon, Illinois. He liked to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  
He is survived by his wife Carrie, children, David Miller (Tera) of Lisbon, Ohio, Kevin Miller of Kankakee, Illinois, Chandra Buchanan (Patrick) of Alliance, Ohio, seven grandchildren, sister Deborah Cowger (Johnny) of Mattoon, Illinois. Mr Miller was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Miller; brother, Larry Boyken Jr. 
A Graveside Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday July 31, 2025 in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery Neoga, Illinois.
