ROLAND C. RENTFROW

95, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 9:00 A. M., Saturday, February 9, 2013, in the Heartland Christian Village of Neoga, Illinois. He was born November 21, 1917, in Stewardson, Illinois, the son of Jesse E. and Della ( Webb ) Rentfrow. Roland married Emily M. Walk, December 2, 1939 in Neoga, Illinois, and Mrs. Rentfrow passed away October 29, 2001. He was a member of the St. Mary of The Assumption Church of Neoga, and a member of the Cumberland County Farm Bureau. Roland was a retired grain and Dairy farmer, he was also employed at the Neoga Auction and Interstate Producers for over twenty years. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. He leaves three sons, Roland D. " Ronnie " Rentfrow and his wife Marilyn of Neoga, IL, Robert E. Rentfrow of Jacksonville, IL and John Rentfrow of Shelbyville, IL; one daughter, Diane Ballinger and husband Danny of Neoga, IL; twelve grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Mr. Rentfrow was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emily Rentfrow, one daughter-in-law Laura Rentfrow, three brothers, Delmar, Donald and Norman Rentfrow and one sister Geraldine Fallert; one grandson, Robert J. Rentfrow. Memorials may be made to the Heartland Christian Village Auxiliary, or to St. Mary of The Assumption Church, both of Neoga, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 14, 2013, in the St. Mary Of The Assumption Church of Neoga, with the Rev. Fr. Robert DeGrand of Neoga, and Sr. Pat Thies of Effingham officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, with a Wake Service at 6:00 P.M.
