RUBY E. MOFFITT

of rural Neoga, passed away at 6:05 A.M. Monday, May 7, 2012, in the Heartland Christian Village of Neoga, Illinois. Ruby was born April 7, 1924 in Shelby county, Illinois the daughter of Kenneth and Anna Louise ( Russell ) Anderson. She married Arble M. Moffitt Jr. August 5, 1946 in Charleston, IL he passed away April 5, 1990. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Williams and her husband Dan of Rural Stewardson, IL, Darlene Albin of Neoga, IL and Debbie Williams and her husband Delbert of Neoga, IL; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents: her husband Arble M. Moffitt, Jr.; and two brothers, David L. Anderson and Dallas L. Anderson. Ruby was a member of the Gaskill United Methodist Church in Shelby County, IL, Modern Woodmen # 8061 and the local Bunco Club. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, IL. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Swedish Lutheran Cemetery in Big Spring Twp., IL. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga is assisting family with arrangements.
