STEPHEN "STEVE" EARL KOEBELE

Stephen "Steve" Earl Koebele 69, of Sigel, Illinois passed away Tuesday October 19, 2021 in his residence. He was born October 15, 1952 in Mattoon, Illinois the son of Maurice "Morrie" and Joyce (O'Dell) Koebele. He married Susan Marie Wishart, October 1, 1977 in Mattoon, Illinois.  Mr. Koebele was a retired Milk Truck Driver  He especially loved his wife "Sue"  and enjoyed fifties and sixties music, grilling out, talking to friends and a nice campfire.  He loved the simple things in life like clouds, the sky and just sitting outside visiting.  Mr Koebele leaves his wife, Susan Koebele of Sigel, Illinois; children, Linda Sullivan (James) of Dixon, Illinois, Mathew Koebele (Maria) of Washington D.C., Karla Funneman (Randy) of Etna, Illinois, Sandra Koebele and special friend Jared of Newton, Illinois and Brian Koebele (Santana) of Ohio; twelve grandchildren; brothers, Dan Koebele (Bobbi) of Cainville, Illinois and Tom Koebele of Winnamuka, Nevada; sister, Anita Edwards (Terry) of Overton, Minnesota.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 
As per His wishes Cremation Rites will be accorded and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 25, 2021 in the St. Michael, The Archangel Church in Sigel, Illinois. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until !0:00 AM Monday October 25, 2021 also in the church. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery in Sigel, Illinois.
