Obituary
Thomas Adolph "Tom" Harmon 67, of Sigel, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 24, 1954 in Effingham, Illinois the son of Rex John and Emma Louise (Schwerdt) Harmon. Tom was a member of the St. Michael The Archangel Church in Sigel, Illinois. He worked at the Blaw-Knox Construction Equipment Company in Mattoon, Illinois. Mr. Harmon leaves his brothers, Steve Harmon (Sheila) of Montrose, Illinois, Jim Harmon (Tammy) of Olney, Illinois, Larry Harmon of Effingham, Illinois and Paul Harmon (Seanne) of Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters, Alice Icenogle (Brian) of Neoga, Illinois, Joyce Helmbacher of Sigel, Illinois and Doris Harmon of Charleston, Illinois; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Harmon and brother, John Harmon.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to St. Michael School in Sigel, Illinois
As per Tom’s wishes Cremation Rites were accorded and a Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday July 22, 2022 in the St. Michael Cemetery in Sigel, Illinois.
