VIRGINIA B. PATRICK

76, of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 8:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013, in the Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care Center of Effingham, Illinois. Virginia was born April 14, 1936, in Moultrie County, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Adah ( Martin ) Garrett. She married Harold E. Patrick June 17, 1954, in Neoga, Illinois, and Mr. Patrick Passed away March 8, 2002. Virginia was a member of the Smyser Christian Church of rural Gays, IL. Virginia was a Housewife and Homemaker. She leaves one son, Tom Patrick of Columbia City, IN; two daughters, Pat Patrick of Effingham, IL; Penny Moschenrose and husband Dan of Watson, IL; two sisters, Barbara Swisher of Shelbyville, IL and Kay Owens and husband Emery "Butch" of Apollo Beach, FL; one granddaughter, Alexandria " Alex " Shadwell of Murfreesboro, TN; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Glen R. Patrick. Memorials may be make to the American Heart Association, or to the Donor's Choice Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 31, 2013, in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, with the Rev. Richard Coen of Neoga, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the services at the funeral home.
