WAYNE ARTHUR HENK

Wayne Arthur Henk, 73, of rural Gays, Illinois, passed away peacefully Saturday April 27, 2024 in his residence.  He was born April 1, 1951 in Danville, Illinois the son of Arthur Clarence and Anna Ruth (Miller) Henk.  Wayne worked as a Lineman for over Thirty years for several telecommunication companies.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and riding his unique Jeep golf cart to visit with the neighbors.  Mr. Henk is survived by his son Arthur Henk of Danville, Illinois; a grandchild Gwyn Henk of Danville, Illinois; brother Gary (Kathy) Henk of Danville Illinois; close friends Angie Patterson and Shawn Durbin; and special canine companion, Snowball.  

 He was preceded in death by his parents and special friend Renee Eller.

As Per Wayne’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no public services.
