74, of Charleston, Illinois, formerly of Effingham and Stewardson, Illinois passed away at 12:40 P. M., Monday, May 21, 2012, in the Charleston Rehabilitation and Health Care Center of Charleston, Illinois. He was born February 28, 1938, in Shelby County, Illinois, the son of Fred and Dot ( Litherland ) Haverstock. Fritz was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge # 541, both of Stewardson, Illinois, He was a retired employee of the Young Radiator Company of Mattoon, Ill., after twenty years. He also worked for many farmers and other factories. Fritz enjoyed Civil War Re-enactments, Photography and Antique Tractors. He was married to Beth S. Cox in Charleston, Illinois. Mr. Haverstock leaves two daughters, Julie Marie Haverstock and Mary Elizabeth Haverstock both of Charleston, Illinois; one brother, Robert " Bob " Haverstock and wife Lilly of Allenville, Illinois; one sister, Joyce Ballinger and husband Raymond of rural Stewardson, Illinois; Sister-in-law, Judy Haverstock; five grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Haverstock and Infant Grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice in care of Joyce Ballinger - RR 1 Box 128 - Stewardson, IL 62463. Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, May 24, 2012, in the Stewardson Cemetery in Stewardson, Illinois, with Pastor Jim Maroon of Neoga, officiating. A luncheon will be held following the services at the Stewardson Park in Stewardson, Illinois.
