WILLIAM FRANKLIN " BILL" SHUBERT

60 of Rural Mattoon, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2013, in his residence. Bill was born January 20, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Kenneth and Mary ( Hoffman ) Shubert. Mr. Shubert married Brenda S. Hunter, April 27, 2012 in Coles County, Illinois. Bill was a car salesman and part owner of the Harper Motor Sales of Mattoon, IL. He and Brenda did everything together, cook outs, fishing, camping out. They enjoyed life together and he was a caring and forgiving person, always willing to help others and visiting with family and friends. He also enjoyed gardening. Bill leaves his loving wife, Brenda S, Shubert of rural Mattoon, IL; three sons, Tyler Shubert of Mattoon, IL, Quin Shubert and Nathan Shubert, both of Cisco, IL; four step-daughters, Jamie Sosqmon and husband Cody of Monticello, IL, Tesa White and husband J.D. of Gibson City, IL, Meranda Meadows and husband Calvin of Paducah, KY and Devon Gincley of Mattoon, IL; three sisters, Donna Shubert of Nashville, TN, Rebecca Lenoir of Champaign, IL and Barbara Gizegorek of Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren. Mr. Shubert was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to his family in care of Brenda S. Shubert of 1360 East County Rd., 100 North - Mattoon, IL 61938. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 (noon) , Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in the Zion Hill Cemetery, Paradise Twp., Coles County, IL with Pastor, Jon Callahan of Urbana, IL officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M., to 11:45 A.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL.
