WILMA ANN (RENCHEN) BURTON

Wilma Ann Burton 87, of Rural Neoga, Illinois, went home to be with Jesus on Monday March 25, 2024 at 9:03 am in the Willow Breeze Hospice House in Mattoon, Illinois surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 14, 1937 in Robinson, Illinois the daughter of Herman and Helen (Gill) Renchen.  She Married Willard  Lindsay in 1957 and later married Jack Burton in 1968.  Wilma was a Tax Preparer for H&R Block and was a former member of the American Business Women’s Association.  She enjoyed watching Hummingbirds and visiting with family and friends.  Wilma is survived by her children, Chris Lindsay (Becky Williams) of Charleston, Illinois, Tim Lindsay (Kathy) of Toledo, Illinois, Patrick Lindsay (Christy) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and David Burton (Jenny) of Stewardson, Illinois; grandchildren, Tony Lindsay (Andrea), Jennifer Eastes (Nathan), Lee Lindsay - Berns (Christian), Naomi Eller (Ty), Jarrett Lindsay (Ashley), Lindsay Burton, Nicholas Burton, Jack Burton and Adam Burton; eight great grandchildren one great great grandchild and one half sister, Diane Piercy.  She was preceded in death by, parents; sister, Carrie Sutfin and half brother, Steve Albert.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to The Willow Breeze Hospice House in Mattoon, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday March 29, 2024 in the First Christian Church of Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be on Thursday March 28, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at the First Christian Church of Neoga, Illinois. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery in Neoga Twp., Illinois
