95, of Neoga, Il formerly from Champaign-Urbana and Charleston, IL, passed away at 2:50 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County, IL. Wreatha was born July 21, 1916 the daughter of Asa E. And Della M. (Hale) Stipp in Louisville, IL. Wreatha married Elmer R. Peters March 25, 1941 in St. Joseph, IL he passed away in October of 1988. Wreatha was retired from the University of Illinois where she worked as a Production Manager of Food Services. She also was Owner/Manager of Peters Grocery in Urbana, Peters Greenhouse in Champaign and Owner/Operator of White Pine Acres & Greenhouse in Charleston, IL. Wreatha was a member of the Windsor Road Christian Church of Champaign, IL, Mattoon Christian Church in Mattoon, iL and The Holy Hands Puppet and Drama Ministry. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Smith and husband Carroll of Charleston, IL; one brother Myron Stipp and wife Louise of Champaign, IL; Grandchildren Darin Hansen and wife Sharla of Neoga, IL and Brant Hansen and wife Carolyn of Rocklin, CA and six Great Grandchildren. Wreatha was preceded in death by, her parents, husband, Elmer Peters; three brothers, Ralph Stipp, Don Stipp and Roscoe Stipp; four sisters, Olive Smith, Ola Sullens, Wanda Cook and Erma Dickason; two grandchildren, Brian and Brice Hansen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday January 23, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Neoga, IL with Minister Darin Hansen of Neoga officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before services Monday, January 23, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Neoga, IL. Graveside services will be at 2;30 P.M. monday January 23, 2012 in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana, IL Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Neoga, IL.
